We believe that Digital Technologies should be used for creation, for problem solving and to enhance and reflect our core learning.
Chromebooks and Google Apps
All students in Grades 3 to 6 have their own Chromebook laptop at school to use for learning. All students and staff use Google Education Suite to collaborate, learn and create together.
Students in Prep to 2 have access to class sets of iPads to be used for the creation of eBooks, multi media presentations about their learning and movie making.
Students in Grade 5 and 6 have the opportunity to be a part of the Lego Robotics team and compete in regional and state competitions. Robotics students design, build and program robots to compete in soccer or rescue events. We are also extending our Robotics program throughout the school with the use of Makey Makeys and BeeBots.
Digital Media literacy is vital in modern education. Students across year levels engage with film making in teams, linked to inquiry units and literacy.
We would like to acknowledge the Wadawurrung People, the Traditional Owners of the land on which we are gathered and pay our respects to their Elders both past and present and emerging.
